THAMES VALLEY TAEKWON-DO the No.1 in Berkshire!

(TVT) was formed by Master Andy Whiteley VII Degree from the Reading and Wokingham area schools first established in November 1982.

INSTRUCTORS

As part of the United Kingdom Taekwon-Do Association we offer a professional approach to our tuition in original authentic Taekwon-Do.  All our instructors hold genuine ITF Certification, are security checked with Criminal Records Bureau (CRB), are covered by Public Indemnity Insurance, have First Aid training and certification, and are required to attend regular courses and seminars to maintain our high standards of instruction. 

CLASSES  

We offer a wide range of self defence and fitness training suitable to all age groups and ability levels including ‘Mini Kickers’ U9yrs, Children U13yrs, Junior U18yrs, Senior and Veteran categories.

OUR AIM

To provide a fun, friendly, educational and dynamic approach to Taekwon-Do training from absolute beginner to international elite whilst following a structured internationally recognised grading syllabus established within the UK since 1967.

TRAINING BENEFITS

Gained through regular training based on at least two sessions per week students initially improve and develop personal fitness levels and flexibility, combined with co-ordination, body balance, agility, strength, speed, and stamina.Self discipline, respect, concentration and the motivation to progress towards achieving goals instils both self confidence and self esteem in a student’s personal development within this dynamic self defence system.

Our programme which has been developed and perfected over 40 years guides the student through the structured grading syllabus within a safe positive environment in which all ages and ability levels can progress at their own pace.
