Mini Kickers (under 9s)

Learning Taekwon-Do at a young age carries many benefits and is a great way of helping energetic little characters to learn to focus.

Whilst working in a team environment our Mini Kickers will concentrate on the basics, cementing the building blocks of Taekwon-Do such as good stances, fundamental movements, balance, breath control and co-ordination whilst developing a basic level of fitness and flexibility.

They also have the opportunity of learning some Korean terminology which will not only aid their progression through the ranks in Taekwon-Do but may also help other aspects of their education as they become familiar with learning a different language structure.

Children (under 10s and under 12s)

Our classes for children are aimed specifically for those aged between U10 and U12 yrs and help develop improved levels of concentration, self discipline, self confidence and self control.

The truth is your child will gain many attributes through the benefits of Taekwon-Do training helping them to succeed throughout the crucial development stages of early life.

All our students follow the ITF grading syllabus established within the UK since 1967 working towards the ultimate goal of achieving Black Belt.

The principles of Taekwon-Do techniques are based on the design of your body. For power you develop the larger, powerful muscles of the torso. The speed of the techniques comes from the fast, agile muscles of the arms and legs. As you progress in Taekwon-Do you will learn to coordinate this speed and power, and develop a concentration to focus all of your body's strength into a small, hard striking surface like the edge of the hand or the heel of the foot.

Our aim is to provide a fun, friendly, educational and dynamic approach to Taekwon-Do training from absolute beginner to international elite whilst following a structured internationally recognised grading syllabus established within the UK since 1967.

Fitness training and personal training

Through regular training based on at least two sessions per week students initially improve and develop personal fitness levels and flexibility, combined with co-ordination, body balance, agility, strength, speed, and stamina.

Self discipline, respect, concentration and the motivation to progress towards achieving goals instils both self confidence and self esteem in a student's personal development within this dynamic self defence system.

Our programme, which has been developed and perfected over 40 years, guides the student through the structured syllabus within a safe, positive environment in which all ages and ability levels can progress at their own pace.
